Introduction
We have tried to keep the construction of the site as simple as possible
whilst at the same time making it useful, quick, easy to navigate and
attractive. In particular –
- The site does not use any flash or any other technology requiring
plugins
- Minimal use of Javascript – only to provide rollover effects
- the site should function perfectly well in browsers without Javascript
or if you choose to leave Javascript turned off
- No Java
- A very basic Cascading Style Sheet [CSS] is used to control fonts
– again, the site should work perfectly well without CSS
- No cookies
- We have used lots of photographs though – that's because Belmont
really is a beautiful place and we want to show it off!
Problems?
The site has been tested with a variety of browsers [including
Internet Explorer, Netscape, Opera and iCab], a variety of versions
and on Mac [OS9 & X] and various versions of Windows on PC.

all users, and if you are experiencing any problems we'll do our
